A brief history of the Milwaukee Road route from Minneapolis to the Missouri River:

02/25/23

Located on the west side of Olivia, this small deck girder bridge was constructed for two tracks to cross Beaver Creek.
Built in 1916 using a span originally ordered for Bridge #AA-300, this bridge consists of a single 40' deck girder span, set onto concrete substructures.
While the abutments of the bridge were built to carry two tracks, a second track was never installed. This was one of a few single track gaps along the mainly double tracked mainline between Minneapolis and Aberdeen.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition. Some deterioration of the substructures was noted in 2017.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
